The Eurasier coat should never be trimmed or sculpted, and should be free of product. Hair on the backs of the front and rear legs forms feathering. The coat should be slightly longer on the neck, but not enough to form a mane. It is typical for the Eurasier to blow its coat seasonally or with hormonal changes in the bitch. The guard hairs should lie loosely over the body, not standing off or out.
The coat should be of moderate length, but not so long as to obscure the outline of the dog. The underline should have only a slight tuck up. The back should be straight and firm, with a slightly sloped croup, going into a tail that curls over, touching the back. The depth of body and length of leg should be approximately equal. The Eurasier should have medium bone, with good substance. The ribcage should be of good length and drop to the level of the point of elbow. The chest should be well developed, without being barrel shaped or too broad. The transition to the back should be smooth. It should arch forward over the front of the dog, never straight up over the front legs. The neck is medium length and balanced with the rest of the body. The hock joint should be stable, never buckling forward when standing or in motion. The upper and lower thigh should be of equal length, and the hock not too long. The rear assembly should be balanced with the front, with moderate bend of stifle and a defined hock joint. The front pasterns slope slightly, with oval paws. The elbow and front paws of the dog should be well under the body of the dog. The front assembly should be moderately angled, with equal length of shoulder blade and upper arm. It should be balanced and converge towards single tracking with increased speed. The Eurasier should move effortlessly, with good reach in the front and drive from the rear.
The nose is medium size with black pigmentation. They should not be large and protruding with eye whites showing, nor should they be very small or sunken in the face. The eyes are almond shaped, set slightly oblique, dark in colour and with black eyelids. The ears are medium sized, set apart by the width of one ear, and the points between the ear tips and the centre of the stop should form an equilateral triangle. The Eurasier should have complete dentition with either scissors or level bite. The muzzle should taper towards the nose, without snippiness or weak underjaw. The head planes should be parallel, with only a slightly defined stop. The length of skull and length of muzzle are almost equal.
